The Reel Machine specialises in the manufacture and sale of 9″ Scarborough-style ski-boat fishing reels and related accessories.

All product descriptions, images, specifications, and pricing are provided as accurately as possible. However, slight variations may occur due to manufacturing updates or display differences. Images are for illustrative purposes only.

3. Pricing

  • All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR).

  • Prices include VAT where applicable, unless otherwise stated.

  • We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice.

  • Any price changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted and paid for.

4. Orders

  • Orders are placed via our secure WooCommerce checkout.

  • An order is only considered accepted once payment has been successfully received and confirmed.

  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order due to stock availability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud.

5. Payment

We accept payment methods as displayed on the checkout page. All transactions are processed through secure, encrypted payment gateways.

The Reel Machine does not store or have access to your payment card details.

6. Shipping & Delivery

  • We deliver within South Africa using reputable courier services.

  • Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on location and courier performance.

  • The Reel Machine is not responsible for delays caused by couriers, weather conditions, or events beyond our control.

  • Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer upon delivery.

7. Returns, Repairs & Warranty

7.1 Returns

Returns are subject to the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of South Africa.

  • Customers may return defective or incorrectly supplied goods within 6 months of delivery for repair, replacement, or refund.

  • Goods must be returned in a clean condition, with all original components where reasonably possible.

7.2 Warranty

  • Our reels are manufactured to high standards and are covered by a limited warranty against manufacturing defects.

  • The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, improper maintenance, corrosion due to neglect, unauthorised modifications, or normal wear and tear.

8. Use of Products

Our products are designed for fishing applications. The Reel Machine is not liable for:

  • Injury, loss, or damage resulting from improper use

  • Failure to follow recommended maintenance or safety practices
